HOI is a modular system featuring an integrated coffee machine within the counter, designed to enhance customer engagement and facilitate ergonomic and efficient work. The product seamlessly blends tradition and modernity through its adaptable and understated appearance. The central module, positioned beneath the counter, fosters a new form of interaction between baristas and customers, and the system is energy-efficient, utilizing waste heat. The customizable heights and distances of the modules cater to individual food experts, promoting efficient and ergonomic work. This project was conducted in collaboration with Patrick Heegewald.
Its organic design, composed of cylinders, accentuates the natural essence of coffee. The machine is operated using minimalist chrome steel rings, offering both customers insight and simplifying machine assembly and repairs.
